In 2019 Titan were approached to supply crowd safety consultants and close protection operators to a fledgeling Afrobeat Festival on a beach on Portugal’s stunning Algarve coast
As it was a completely new event data was short so we relied on our industry knowledge to develop a crowd safety management plan that was both applicable and legal under Portuguese law.
The event grew and became an international sensation with multiple events in West Africa, Europe and the USA
During our 5-year tenure we trained over 1000 international staff from all over the world from all backgrounds in different aspects of event and crowd safety culminating in its largest show which saw 50000 people attend 50cent’s headline set on the sand in Portimao, an incredible experience for staff and customer alike.
